Dear Dave
Please never remove the new front page sports day, as I am in that race.
From right to left I am the second super athlete in and second in from left to right is I am almost certain is Charlie Hill with his ultra thin legs.
As you can see I am not winning at this stage of the race, I must of slipped on the wet grass or didn't hear ready steady go.
I can't remember the result but I am sure I must of won or am I dreaming.
Thanks Dave.

David Willacy ref Goldings Cup Final 2018
An Email sent to David Willacy from Mr John Annet and David Willacy 's reply

Gents
Harvesters FC has been booked on Tuesday 27th March, 4:30pm, for the HSFA U/14 Goldings Cup Final.
I would be very grateful if you could let me know who wins your semi-final.
I shall organise officials as well for you and collect the medals and trophy for the game.
If you can send me some squad details, including players names, manager names and route to the Final by Monday 12th March I will also try to put together some programmes.
Cheers
John

Hi John,
Thankyou for these details.
I regret that I am away that week.
I hope to have the medals available for you.
I have copied this to David Blower who co-ordinates the Golding's Boys'
Someone MAY be there to present their Trophy.
Keep warm
David

Will you be in these parts anytime soon? If so, we want to grab you for a few minutes ‘on tape’ about Goldings and Dr B’s. Had a really good chat recording recently with Robert (Bob) Pegg.

If no cause to come in the foreseeable, any written scribbled casual memories would be useful. We need a bit more to add to Robert’s paper file at Hertford Museum Hertford Oral History Group.

Not vital, but would be good. Best wishes Dave. Pete Ruffles
