Mr Barry Archer joined Goldings Staff almost at the close of the school in 1967.
He was interviewed and given a post in the Print Shop and a staff house, only to be
told just before the start of his employ that he still had the job in the Print shop but
could no longer be offered the accommodation that went along with it.
Mr Archer was still at Goldings when the Print School moved to Mead Lane,
and then finally at the close of the Mead Lane Barnardo Print School.
Barry is very proud of the successful pass rate the print school had.

Mr Archer and his wife attended the reunion in 2007. They still live close by in Bengeo

We would like to thank Barry for the personal collection of photos given to us below
