Just before the 2009 reunion I was contacted by Mrs Newbrook who told me after Mr Newbrook passed away she came across the
Memoirs of his life and was intrigued to read of the name “Goldings” and contacted me for any information about him.
Mr Newbrook was the P.T.I. at Goldings after Joe Patch (what a name to follow) for a short while until Mr R. Newton arrived.
Bill wasn’t there long but Goldings must have made a large impression on him as you read in his wife’s letter below.
