Upland bog with good nightjar habitat.

Gors Bodgynydd Nature Reserve is a mosaic of open water streams, wetland, acidic grassland and heathland. This diversity is a result of variations in the underlying geology and the influences of man. The reserve is leased from Forest Enterprise who own and manage the surrounding forests. We offer nightjar walks every June, contact us for details.

The reserve is situated in the Gwydyr Forest, about 3 miles north west of Betws-y-Coed. It can be approached from the unclassified roads leaving the A5 west of Betws-y-Coed at the Ugly House and from similar roads leaving the B5106 west of Llanwrst at Gwydir Uchaf.

For further information on this reserve, please contact Graham Berry on 01352 810469.
