Limestone hill with views of Vale of Clwyd and a wide range of wildlfowers.
Y Graig (The Rock) is a small limestone escarpment in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From the top of the escarpment there are magnificent views over the vale of Clwyd. The NWWT purchased the site in 1987 to protect the calcareous grassland, woodland and limestone outcrops.
Y Graig's limestone grassland is a rich haven for wildlife and butterflies.
The reserve is situated half a mile south of Tremerchion to the east of St. Asaph.
From the A55 turn south onto the B5429 for two miles. From the A541, turn north at Bodfari for two miles. You may park in the road opposite Tremerchion Chapel.
