Well just got back from a really wet weekend, but Storm Alex didn’t stop us doing some restoring work on the paint work of the Golding's Bench.
I would like to thank Ron Porter (BSP)
And our Bluenose and her husband Dave Clark for helping me I couldn’t have done it without them
Also my daughters with Josh and his girlfriend Charlie, my granddaughters who have been so supportive over the weekend
All spruced up now.
I met up with Jimmy Street, had a couple of pints with a meal while we caught up about our Golding's years.
All in all not a bad weekend.
Some photos will be on in the next couple of days.

Dear Dave
So sorry to see that you have had to cancel the Goldings Old Boys reunion, although I am not surprised with this terrible Covid 19 Pandemic and of course, the distances that many of us would have to travel - trains, buses etc and of course the use of the community centre.
I am well aware that you and your family always put a tremendous amount of work in to make the reunion such a very special occasion.
However, we can all hopefully look forward to the first Saturday in October 2021 when we can all get together to renew long term friendships. Again, hopefully, there will be a vaccine that will stop the spread of this dreadful disease.
I take this opportunity of wishing you, Mal and the family all the best and stay safe.
