National Nature Reserve with fen, grassland & heath with wide range of wildflowers and animals.
Cors Goch is famous for its calcareous fenland and acidic heathland which both support many rare plant species. Cors Goch is a valuable base rich fen. In 1964, the purchase of three farm holdings led to the formation of the NWWT. These have since been extended to form the reserve you see today. Its international importance has now been recognised.
Take the A5025 to the junction about 1.5 miles North of Pentraeth. On the left there is a turning to Llanbedrgoch. About 1 mile beyond the village leave your car in the lay-by on the left, just north of the track leading to the reserve.
