Hello John,Robert Puzey was at Barkingside with us and told us he was in the recording business about 8 years ago but he doesn't come to Goldings reunions,also other lads from Goldings have tried to find Rudgey but no luck.If you write to Barnardo's your contact is Martine King requesting if they have contact with them and can they help you with finding them...Good Luck, if by chance in the future they get in touch with me regards our reunions I will pass on your message.

Hello and Happy New Year to you all. I was at the Dr Barnardos, Garden City site, Woodford Bridge, Essex, in the sixies, leaving in 1966 or 1967. Two requests:
1) I am trying to track down two boys who were at the Garden City, in Angas or Union Jack cottage houses, before moving to Goldings? They are David Rudge and Robert (or John) Puzey.
(2) To my knowledge there is no website or Facebook page dedicated to the Garden City and I am attempting to set one up. If anyone else was 'accommodated' at the Garden City and has recollections they are willing to share, please contact me. Best wishes to all.

I would just like to thank Jean Clark (former Barnardo girl,and a member of the Council for Old Boys and Girls)for her visit to us yesterday,along with Peter(Drummond)and my family to enjoy a meal together in Walsall and a safe journey back to her city of Birmingham. Many thanks Jean hope to see you again soon.
