Its Autumn down here temp still in the high 20s, Feb was a special month for me 58yrs since I left Goldings, my 78th birthday (missed that one Dave,) had another bad fall smashed my knee cap bloody painful and awkward can not drive which is a real pain. we are making every effort to attend this years 50th celebrations going to cruise up to Med and cruise back to Aus will properly be our last big trip, with my wonky heart not able to fly, will keep u informed.

The message below refers to the Goldings Cup which every year is awarded to the under 14's who win the final in football and most finals are played on St Albans ground.Over the last few years it appears that a lack of support for the event is not forth coming from Herts F.A.with help with finance,so now it looks like the finalist schools will have to organise the final themselves.It will still remain the Goldings Cup for the final, but to date I am unsure who may invite a Goldings Old Boy to present it,and will our write which was placed in the programme regards former finals about Goldings will continue.I will keep everyone who's interested informed.
