Had a great talk today with 50s old Boy Dick Lang. I haven’t heard from him for about 15 years, and it was great to hear he was ok.
Dick says for you 50s Old Boys out there who remembers the new ablution block being built?
The toilets all had a chain with a rubber ball attached to the end, first day it was opened all the balls went missing!! everyone was playing football with rubber balls lol, Pinhead was furious and warned the boys 24 hours to have them returned or else. All were returned but one never knew what happened to that one. Lol

Hello Everyone
I will not be attending this years Old Boys Reunion, due to a few mishaps with my health, which some of you are aware of.
I do appreciate the get well card from the Old Boys thankyou Dave.
I can assure you that I will be sadly missing the Reunion this year and reminiscing with the Old Boys.
Please give my regards to the reunion team, and also my apologies.
I am not sure if everyone is aware , but my wife passed away at the end of May.
Not because she was my wife, but she was an incredible woman in what she achieved in her lifetime for the benefit of others. Receiving her M.B.E. just after I received mine in 1993. We had so many laughs together about me being the winner in our race for our M.B.E.s.
I do hope the numbers will be good this year as when people miss reunions it can become habit forming, so I wish you all good luck.
I send my kindest regards to you and your family, from one of the worst carpenters to come out of Goldings, (so said Mr. Broster ,and also I believe Stormy Tempest agreed )
