Such a shock,both David and Carolyn gave me so much support over the years with Golding's,and our re-union.The last of a family that gave us so much hope with our life's,and so dedicated to us and the school.On a personal note I would like thank the family,as I didn't know till I got my records that Mr Wheatley followed my career long after I had left Golding's,and was constantly on to my employers that I attended College to further my learning.Sadly missed David,my thoughts go out to Carolyn and family.

It has been hard to take in all the sad news we have had lately. News of David has come as a real shock, he was a great friend of mine at Goldings and meeting him each year at the reunion was a great pleasure. My thoughts and sympathy is with Carolyn. David was a great sportsman at Goldings and we sort of grew up together there. He was a gentleman in all ways and I will miss him so much.
