Hello Ted, firstly can you remember your House, your Trade, or maybe any boys you were friends with or just recall.
I have a couple of Goldonian,s from those years but unfortunately some are missing. I will look through these over the weekend and get back to you.

Every year we hold a Old Boy and Staff re-union in Hertford,this year it is on Saturday 7th October,if you want a invite tell me and I will post one on to you.If you want to speak to me on the phone it's 01922 615789.If you need me for anything to help you with don't hesitate,also at our re-union last year we had an Old Boy of 99,so Ted it looks like you are a "spare"to him like we all were,could luck to you from all the Old Boys and Staff.

Letter received today ref Mark Snowden.
Dear David.
Thank you for the invitation to my husband Mark to attend The Golding's Reunion, the pictures brought back memories of the times I came to Hertford with him.
Unfortunately, he passed away in 2015 and I apologize for not letting you know sooner. He was always grateful for what Barnardo's did for him,and I'm grateful for the super husband they made for me!

Dear Jacqui,
Please accept my apologies, the majority of invitations are sent out by Barnardo’s Aftercare, which I believe was sent by them to you as they don’t allow me private address’s of former Goldings Old Boys. I will inform them of the situation for the
future on their mailing list. I do a get lot of pride from wives and families who realize
what Goldings did in most situations produced such fine and upstanding future Husbands, which must be a credit to the Staff at Goldings, and they to realized what a fine outcome was made by them.
I have added this information on the website and Mark will be remembered in our minutes silence at the reunion in October.

Gordon Rath has just rang me to tell there is on radio 2 all this week about Dr Barnardo children who were sent to Australia and their horrendous experience they encountered, looking at the radio times I think it comes on at 1-30 Alone on the wide wide sea,worth a listen to you all.

I've received a Re-Union ticket reply today, the meal is marked as 1 FISH AND CHIPS and attending daytime and evening but no name, if whoever it is, is looking in let us know who you are l.o.l,it could only be a Golding,s Boy
