I've just been informed that the Goldings Cup Final has been played at a different venue to the one they gave me.
Below is the e-mail sent me this morning from David Willacy the organiser for the Cup.
Hi Dave,
Due to an administrative error, by the school, the Goldings and Presidents
Cups were moved from Woollams.
I e-mailed Winston as soon as I heard from Monks Walk.
I do not know whether or not he got to Hitchin Town.
I hope so as I have just received the result.
Monks Walk (WGC) beat Queens (Watford), the favourites, 5-4 aet.
