Malcolm Clewer 60s
Hi Dave I went to Goldings in 1960 and left in 1964. Recently ( for 3 years ) I have been chronically ill, Papworth for a lung transplant to see if it would help but they decided I was too old. I am so pleased at their conclusion as I seem to be getting stronger by the day. I will be making it to the reunion this year ( come hell or high water ) I often look at your site and would therefore like to make a donation for it’s upkeep ( which is the best way??) I have spoken to Pop on the phone and I am so pleased he appears to be well. If it is okay with you I would like to keep in touch as I have many fond memories of OUR School and many of it’s pupils and staff. Regards Malcolm Clewer ( Please give your family my regards )

Thank you Dave

I also want to thank everyone who sent many wishes of condolences to me and our family from the members of Reg's 'Goldings' family.

The Guestbook had been such an enjoyment to Reg - did he tell you that he actually went from the very first page right up to the latest entry before he died - he read it all while confined to bed, and he made many notes that he had intended to follow up on. I shall probably keep reading the guestbook as well from time to time.

For those who knew Reg, perhaps they would like to actually view the service - I believe it is still available on the MacCoubrey website. I wasn't aware that this service was provided by the funeral home until a few days later, and so I have sent the link to some of the relatives and friends in England, as of course many could not make the journey to be here in Canada.

Just click on the link and on 'streaming video' -

Unfortunately they missed the first song which was a special request of Reg - called "Suddenly there's a valley" by Cogi Grant, but you will see both our youngest son, Brynley and our eldest, Shane, who spoke.

Thanks again for your kind words, Donna
