I've now got the memorial stone moving again after pressing Barkingside to get on with it!.The vicar has o.k. it in principal,the stonemason can carry out the work in 13 weeks once Barnardo okay the budget cost,so hopefully a service should possible to the 16 boys on our reunion day!I have asked Barnardo to include a write up in the Guild Messenger to enable donations to the cost of it.A booklet will give details of boys on the day,so I am asking for two suitable hymns that were popular at Goldings to be included,so any idea's or other items to include on the day.
We will post further progress on the notice board later.
