Dave,
Regarding your query about suitable hymns. A hymn we often sang in the school chapel was Hills of the North rejoice. The last verse was very appropriate to Goldings with the lines 'Lo from the North we come, from East and West and South'. Boys came to Goldings from all parts of the British Isles. Just a thought.
By the way Keith Elkins came to Goldings 1958 from Barkingside, was in Kinnaird House and started in Carpentry. Thats all I can find from my pile of Goldonians at present.

Keith,I have been through the Goldonian and I will quote you below.
Winter 1958
Kinnaird House (this was one of the junior houses at the time)
We all welcome Mr and Mrs Turner,our new House Parents from Bournemouth.The new boys in Kinnaird are Ernest Warren,KEITH ELKINS,David Holmes,Alan Evans,David Mylot,and David Gee,all from Barkingside.
Spring 1962
Cairns.
Since writing our last notes four of our boys have left us, Ralph Purdy,Keith Dryland,KEITH ELKINS,and Barry King-we wish them the very best for the future.
I cannot find your trade and wether you were in the Cadets,Band,Football or Cricket teams,and no other mention of you in your period there,which makes me think "are you still there!)
Perhaps you can fill the gaps in for us,your House Captain when you were leaving was Billy Hoy.If you wan't copies tell me Dave. All the best and keep in touch.
