Thank you for the information re the bench ceremony, I have contacted my cousin Valerie who stayed @ Goldings with our grandparents when her mother, my Aunt Hilda was ill.Valerie will be coming with her husband, myself & my wife to the ceremony if that is OK. Do we need to book seats?, what about costs we would like to make a donation.

hi david.
my name is john horn I was at goldings from oct 1942 until feb 1945 I was in aberdeen house and my school number was 99.I would like to attend the unveiling ceremony at waterford on the 22nd of april.
I live in denton, manchester, I am 78 years old and I have never owned a car so I have been looking on the national express website and the best I can come up with a coach from manchester arriving at stevenage bus station at 10-00 am on the 22nd of april I will be traveling on my own as my wife is unable to accompany me.
I would be grateful if you could advice me on the best way to get from stevenage to waterford if possible.
