Dear Steve and all,regards Mr Angell and getting up to the bar, well its taken me 40yrs to get him up there, and now I can't keep him away...be warned!!.
Getting away slightly from the subject, this weekend I will be back down Hertford to hopfully kick of the siting of our bench along with other Goldings lads, so if you are not busy pop down, the change of air does you the world of GOOD.I'm only making the holes for the concrete no more than two feet, otherwise I won't be able to get out!!!. Tony's bringing his spirit level (well I think he means level, I know I heard him say SPIRITS.Afterwards Brian has agreed to road test it.See ya, Bernard Cribbins...There was I digging this hole, hole in the ground so big and sort of round. Well its not there now grounds all flat, and beneath is the bloke with the Bowler Hat, and thats that!!.

ive just recently set upa support group for all those who were in the care of barnardos, that is all barnardo homes or any barnardo homes. at the present time we have 13 members, from barkingside yalding etc.

HI DAVID, I WOULD LIKE TO SAY HOW DISAPPOINTED I AM WITH THE LACK OF OLD BOYS KEEPING IN TOUCH VIA THIS MESSAGE BOARD. WE HAVE 34 OLD BOYS REGISTERED ON THE CONTACT PAGE.IT WOULD BE GOOD IF SOME OF THEM COULD OCCASIONALLY SHOW UP WITH SOME INPUT. INSTEAD OF JUST LEAVING THERE CONTACT DETAILS HOPEING SOMEONE WILL EMAIL THEM. I KNOW IT DOES NOT COST AN ARM AND A LEG TO KEEP THIS SITE RUNNING, BUT IT SEEMS TO ME THAT ALL THE EFFORT YOU AND YOUNG DAVID HAVE PUT IN TO PROVIDE US WITH THIS SITE IS NOT APPRECIATED,UNTIL THAY TURN UP AT THE REUNION AND DRINK THE WINE YOU PROVIDE. One of the British national daily newspapers is asking readers
"what it means to be British?" Some of the emails are hilarious but this is one from a chap in Switzerland...
Being British is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for A Belgian beer, then travelling home, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV. And the most British thing of all? Suspicion of anything Foreign.
