AS I STAND HERE ON THIS SACRED GROUND.
WHICH ONCE I USED TO ROAM AROUND.
TIS MANY YEARS AGO NOW,WHEN WE WERE YOUNG MEN.
THESE GROUNDS,THIS HOUSE,THOSE BOY'S WERE ALL I HAD THEN.
AS YEARS GO BY, AND WE GET TIRED AND OLD,
I THINK BACK TO ALL THE FUN AND LAUGHTER, THAT DID UNFOLD.
OH NAMELESS GUEST WHO CALLED IT "BORING",
"GROW UP" HE SAID WITH YOUR OUTPOURING.
DEAR SIR AND NAMELESS GUEST,
IT APPEARS WE CANNOT INCLUDE YOU IN OUR JEST.
PERHAPS MANY YEARS AGO, LAUGHTER, FUN, AND FREINDSHIP YOU DID ENJOY,
CAUSE IF MY MEMORY SERVE'S ME RIGHT,THAT WAS THE MAIN INGREDIENT OF A "GOLDINGS BOY".

One of the many good things about this site is that contributions from Goldonians are NOT censored/eddited/nor amended.
Some may find that the banter is not to their taste, other may well enjoy just having a good laugh. Whatever the situation we should all be thankful that this site is truly open to all, without prejustice.
I rarely contribute to this board, but do read it often, I find nothing annoying nor offensive in any of the messages posted.
Let's all try and have respect for each other and individual postings.
