Hi from Aus sorry to have missed the reunions will make an effort to attend next year.met Roy Jenkins recently was at goldings 1945 he is very sick with cancer will keep you informed he was at northern aus reunion in august. I have just spent week in hospital had a mini stroke but am ok I was at goldings 1953 to 1959 in printing left 13 nov 1959 married Joyce 14nov Bill Purkiss attended the wedding 46yrs ago still together we now live in aus since 1978 and own a printing company in Murwillumbah employing 24 we also own and print 2 newspapers with a weekly circulation of 30000 keeps us busy bet Steve Penny would be amazed I was on holiday in uk in 2002 and visited Reg Purkiss even at his age he remembered me I went to Goldings and had a look round also saw the Verney what a great school so many of us owe so much to Dr Barnardos I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me to jog your memories I had the first motor bike a red BSA Reg Davies had a arm surplus bike to the old printers do u remember the old SW2s we have just installed a A2 fuji 4colour perfector and CTP Bob Arthur Robertson

My daughter Fae has blessed me with my latest grandchild, a very young man by the name of Joshua Daniel; weighing in at a very respectable 7lbs 2ozs he entered our world and joined our family in the small hours of Wednesday 0ctober 19th 2005 at approximately 5 minutes past three!
Joshua with a fantastic set of lungs was deafening the entire hospital within seconds of his arrival. The birth was a natural one, and although the labour was painful at times Fae is over the moon to join the fantastic ranks of motherhood
