Yes David,it appears that due to the fact that most of the rooms have been booked already by some organisation the remainder they intend to charge top price for them naughty!! as we use them every year but what's the alternative? but if you find anywere cheaper you have 48 hrs to cancel with them, but we do all like to be together.The Salisbury Arms is usually more expensive,I will look around.

Dave. I took your advice and rang the White Horse Hotel and made a booking for October 8th. The only problem is that there is no discounted price and the room has cost £94.60 instead of £60 for a Double.
