Letter from a Golding Resident David and Denise
Dear Dave,
Thank you so much for your kind letter and parcel of 13th October.
We left for a 3 week cruise shortly after your letter arrived, so can only apologise for our delayed response.
We were wholly overwhelmed by the gift from your 98 yr old anonymous Old Boy,
Apart from this being a most beautiful and wholly unexpected surprise, the kindness and thoughtfulness is very humbling for us. We really would like to write and thank the gentleman who has bestowed this gift upon us, if you can persuade him to share with us his name and address.
The mess here remains awful and we are simply praying for rectification by Christmas.
We really hope the annual (do) was again a happy one for all. We really missed seeing you all but 2016 we will do our usual- God willing.

Thanks for the info Bill. The name Ginger Fripp rings a bell but can't say I really remember him. Glad that you were also a friend of Alan Blackburn. Graham Ferris and me helped him write a love letter to his girl, I wonder if it was the same girl. Yes I remember Ernie Dawson, he was in the carpenter's shop the same time as me. Did you see my piece about him in the swimming pool?
