Hello Denise.
I will inform everyone and I'm sure everyone will join me in saying how sorry we are to hear of your problems.
Hope it will be rectified speedily.
Hopefully we will still be able to visit the Golding's grounds weather permitting, and with the residents permission as in the past, and many thanks to both of you in your support of our re-unions throughout the years, many of the Old Boys will miss your warm and friendly greetings, thanks for letting us know.

Dear Dave,
We hope this message finds you very well.
It is with deep regret that we have to advise you that we cannot put on our usual welcome for the Old Boys this year as much as it was on our calendar to do so.
We have had a nightmare with flooding to our Basements (one internal and one outside the apartment adjoining our internal Basement Study) with terrible mess, continual noisy humidifiers, carpets pulled up etc etc. Frankly, it is neither safe nor pleasant for visitors.
Because of the upheaval, instead we will be taking weekends away while works are being done when we are not here.
Our most sincere apologies; we will make sure that we make up for it with our 2016 welcome.
Please do let all our usual friends/visitors know.

It's been suggested that when any Old Boy or Staff leave a message on the guest book, that if they can remember, to include the years they were there and the house they were in when they were at Goldings at the end of their message which I think is a very good idea,which could result in old friends discovering each other once again.
