Hi everybody and I hope you are all looking forward to the Spring and what we hope will be an excellent Summer.
I had an e-mail from Reg Longman a few days ago and has just returned from a trip to Florida which he and Donna enjoyed, despite having to navigate the airports in a wheelchair due to a constant problem with his legs. A recent MRI indicates that it could be related to trapped nerves in his spinal column and is meeting with a neurosurgeon on 5th March and I'm sure we all wish him well.
Due to his problem, Reg & Donna have had to cancel their trip to the UK this year and I will miss meeting up with them again here in Melton on May the 5th as planed.
Unless something can be done, Reg tells me he may not be able to come to England again, something he has done for the last 24 years

Thank you Len for your good wishes, pleased to say l am feeling a bit better my walking not so good, I may need a second hip joint replacement
on my left hip its now 24 years since I had my first one.
Thanks to all goldings mates and other friends I have met over the years at the reunions for your concern I hope to meet up with you all at the next reunion.
May good health be with you all until then
and here after.

Hi dave you are right, the library was next to the staff dinning room I wanted a skive so volunteered to tidy up in there I can never remember any one taking any books but I remember the big old oak panels they went round most of the room also there were some cracks in the panels, and you could see into part of the dinning room always tried to have a letch at Mr Alans wife but never really got a good look worth a go if I had got caught god knows what would of happened after a few weeks I got taken of library duty because I had not done a lot. Good skive for a while
