During your (Alan D. and David W.) meeting people at your talk to the people in Ware, perhaps if you get the chance, you could ask any of the Ware people present who are around my age 80/81, if they knew of the school I attended there – Ware Senior and Central School.
Perhaps someone there might even know of Mrs. Blackwell, who was my teacher in 1944/45. I’d be most interested to hear what any of them have to say.
Did anyone know what happened to Derick Morgan? He was at Goldings at the same time as me. He also went to the same school in Ware.
I would very much have liked to be there on the 14 April.
