Mr Wheatley, along with his wife and dedicated staff, most of us now do realise that his teachings and standards he hoped to achieve with us were his wish's, and his epitaph will forever be Goldings, and the tremendous achievements that came about due to his leadership, and Dr Barnardo's should forever remind their present staff that in April 11th 1945 they were very lucky to gain the service of very dedicated family.
