Hi everyone,
Hope you are all keeping well and enjoying this lovely weather, that's assuming you are having the same as here in Melton Mowbray.
Having said that, I was at a very wet and sodden Coombe Abbey in Warwickshire last week where I was giving a talk at A Barnardo Gift in wills event.
Among those attending was a former Golding's boy but he could not remember the years he was at Golding's. from the conversation I had with him, I assume it must have been in the 1940's as he was at Bayfordbury In 1937. From the story's he told me, he must have been their and at Golding's with Reginald Longman, the Author of "Suffer Little Children" and I will be in touch with Reg later on.
He is in his early 80's and his name is Fred Wyatt. Can anyone throw any light on this....Over to you Dave!!
