Reviewing the Goldonian Winter 1963,I became quite concerned about a incident which appears to be unresolved, and at this time of the year I feel we should uncover the truth?? Speaking to Mr Wheatley regards this unruly behaviour, his words to me was "SEEK OUT THIS CULPRIT AND MAKE THE PUNISHMENT WORTHY OF THIS DASTARDLY CRIME,LEAVE NO STONE UNTURNED" With that I will quote you all the following passage from the magazine in question.
All the boys in Pelham wish to say thank you Mr.J.Lee (known as Joe). Joe is an Old Goldonian and every spare moment he has is spent with the boys.
It seemed that fireworks night was going to be spoilt by some silly boy who threw a lighted firework into the box of fireworks, but Joe saved the day and produced some extra big "bangers" and rockets.
On looking at the facts in front of me, I deduce that it most certainly will not be Pelham boys, but tend to think it will be a pupil from the other house's who have ignited there quota of fireworks and feel that Pelham don't deserve there moments of enjoyment due to the fact that they are the elite at Goldings. Due to this situation I won't you all (excluding Pelham) on the parade ground at first light on 25th of Dec as Christmas is cancelled this year, unless of cause after forty odd years Steve Chamberlain finally owns up??

My Christmas Wish For You

My Christmas wish for you, my friend
Is not a simple one
For I wish you hope and joy and peace
Days filled with warmth and sun

I wish you love and friendship too
Throughout the coming year
Lots of laughter and happiness
To fill your world with cheer

May you count your blessings, one by one
And when totaled by the lot
May you find all you've been given
To be more than what you sought

May your journeys be short, your burdens light
May your spirit never grow old
May all your clouds have silver linings
And your rainbows pots of gold

I wish this all and so much more
May all your dreams come true
May you have a Merry Christmas friend
And a happy New Year, too .

We wish you a merry Christmas

Woody and family.
