For the 2015 reunion on Saturday October the 3rd the White Horse has gave us a special rate.
£60-00 per night double room including breakfast.
£50-00 per night a single room including breakfast.
£70-00 per night the family room including breakfast.
£60-00 per night disabled room (there is only two)
They will require your credit card number BUT NO MONEY WILL BE TAKEN UNTIL YOU BOOK OUT ON THE FINAL DAY AS YOU LEAVE.
You also have to give 24hours notice if you need to cancel for any reason. There will be no charge if you give the minimum notice requred indicated above.
To get the special rate you have to quote a reference number they have gave me.For obvious reasons I will not display it on the site,so you can ring me for it,and I will at a later date put on the invitations for the reunion,but by then it may be full.We will e-mail the reference number for booking to the Goldings Old Boys we who's address we have got shortly.
To date, six of us have already booked,so if you won't to stay there "get your finger out!"

I have no details on the soldiers on the front page (Barnardos may have)as none has been given.

Hi Dave love how you have done the poppies around the photos of our soldier's in the 1st World War do you know if any of them are listed at all on any of the 2 head stones that I have done or are they going to be with the ones which I am doing for Hemel Hemstead in London by Stepney. Les I have been in touch with Billy Knight who lives in Liverpool,U.K,who's brother moved to Australia soon after leaving Goldings.He lives in China Man Creek,just north of Brisbane,Queensland,he has just turned 70,and he was taught Bootmaking at Goldings but didn't take up the trade.If you key in astroron Australia,you could possibly make contact,good luck Dave.

Dave many thanks for the info that you provide me, it would be good if you can find any details of my time at Goldings, I have a photo of myself in the cross country run we used to do of course there are others in the photo, but of course they are way behind me, I will see if I can scan and send a copy, any more details that you have on the guys that are in Aus would be good,i was in the painting and decorating shop Mr Brooks and Mr Ibbotson and Mr Moles were the Teachers at that time, I shall keep in touch from time to time, its great of you to provide the info to all the old boys it certainly brings back memories its much appreciated.
