I am sorry that this is so late but our new Vicar, The Reverend Jenny Gray has inaugurated an All Souls' Service at St Michael and All Angels Church Waterford. The service is this coming Sunday, 3rd November at 6.30 p.m. We will, of course, include the names of those Goldonians that died and are buried in the churchyard but please let me know of any other deceased Goldonians that you would wish us to include.
Anybody that can attend the service will be most welcome, please make yourselves known to the sidesman.

As the years go on ones memory goes!, I should have said does anyone know the other three chaps in the photo with Fuzz Foley? As he was still at Goldings , when I left in 1949 to join the RAF, they could have just joined the School, Memory loss Sam

Hi Dave back in the dark days 47 49 there was a chap nicknamed Fuzz Foley(the one with the rabbit), could this be him? Scoffer H says he joined the Paratroopers and unfortunately didn't make it(he was a lovely man) Very sad times for all those lovely people!.SAM

I remember Derek Clubly quite well. If my memory serves me well, I think as a teenager he had light coloured curly hair?! Look forward to seeing you Derek at the next Reunion. This year was again a great day!

Today I have had a phone call from an Old Boy,Derek Clubly,Goldings 1948-51.He was in Buxton House,House Captain,and School Captain and his trade was Bootmaking.He came from Corris House,Much Wenlock.He remembers Mr Tordoff,Skipper,Mr Embleton,and Mr Wheatley. He joined the army and was going to be posted to Korea,but was sent to Eygpt instead.He remembers a few of the boys names and would like to contact anyone who remembers him.He now lives in Wales, but did once live in Telford.For anyone who wants to contact him I will give out his phone number privately Dave.
P.S. He intends to come to next years reunion.
