Hi Dave Ken Grethe kindly passed your contact details to me with a view to discussing with you the possibility of mounting a display of the Barnardo School of Print Bowls Club at the forthcoming Goldings Reunion on 5.10.13.
If you are interested, I have collected together some artefacts, including a few photographs - and written a short history of BSP Bowls Club since its inception in 1968. Ken tells me that it is your custom to spend the Friday afternoon before the Reunion Day, preparing the photographic displays, therefore, I am willing to hand all this material over to you on Friday, 4.10.13, say about 2 pm.
Please let me know, via email, if you would be interested in arranging a display at this year's Reunion.

On Sunday 8th September I visited Billericay to meet up with two long lost Cousins, Carole & Diane who I had not seen for over 50 years, having been traced by their Brother Michael, just a few weeks ago and who now lives in Canada. I tried myself 0ver 3 years ago to trace them, but without any joy. Their mother was my Auntie Doll and was my dads sister. When I was at Barkingside & Goldings I spent many happy weekends with them as they then lived in Poplar in the east end of London. what an exciting few hours Margaret & I spent with them looking at photos I have never seen. I will try and put some on the site in due course. After leaving them it was off to the Royal Albert Hall for the recording of BBCs "Big Sing" which will be transmitted at the end of October followed by the Christmas edition in December. On Leaving the Albert Hall at around 10pm it was off to the Channel Tunnel. After a few hours sleep in a Calais Hotel, it was back in the car and headed South to Spain where we are enjoying a holiday in Lloret on the Costa Brava. On arrival home, we will then be looking forward to the reunion. take care and look forward to meeting up then.
