Dear Dave,
Next Saturday is not far away.
As always, we have offered for the Goldings Boys to visit us for refreshments.
Do let us know roughly what time we might see you all and how many so that we ensure something for everyone. Would be good to know before Thursday so that we can do a bit of shopping!

Hi Dave we have been friends with George and his family for many years, and Joan writes to them regularly but we didn't know of these latest problems, only that George had day to day problems, I will phone them to see if I can help. He left Goldings to join the RAF and flew Jets.

Just been informed by George Loftus that Mr Sandman (housemaster of McCall late 40's early 50's)has been taken ill and may have to go into a home.
