Hi Walter I remember u I was at Goldings Print Dept 1952 to 1959 I was in Mt Stephen House I was a machine minder with Peter Mitchel Rob Davies Leon Weisenberg I had a BSA motor bike and Rob Davies had an army surplus motor bike I used to work at Hertford County Hospital part time does it ring any bells (bob) Arthur Robertson

MY THANKS TO JIM HARGREAVES FOR THE LOAN OF GOLDONIAN 1934 MAY TO AUGUST
JIM HAD TWO OTHER BROTHERS AND THEY WERE ALL IN JOE PATCH'S GYM TEAM OF THE PERIOD.ALSO HIS BROTHER ARTHUR WAS INVOLVED IN THE CAPTURE OF THE ENIGMA CODE FROM A GERMAN SUBMARINE IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR.IT ALSO APPEARS THAT THEY WERE AT GOLDINGS AT THE SAME TIME AS BASIL COUZENS WHO IS BELEIVED TO BE ONE OF OUR SENIOR GOLDONIANS.INFORMATION WILL BE DISPLAYED SHORTLY FROM THIS MAGAZINE

A couple of mails I received over the last few days. James Medland can be contacted through myself if you can help.We beleive James came into Goldings Winter 1957, if you remember him, or any incidents of that time he would appreciate your help.
(I was in this team jamie medland i know of one other the little person is whippet.)
(Sorry I was so vague about the gym team i was talking about Bob Newtons team. I think those photos where taken in the 50s. My recollection of my time at goldings is very sparse . If there is anybody that you know of that could help me to recall my time at goldings I would be so gratefull as i want to sit down with my grandchildren and talk about my time at school.)
