Many thanks to all my friends and family for a wonderful surprise party,but the crowning of the night was to see my dear friends from Goldings secretly turning up for us,to drive over a 100 miles to help us celebrate.Once again it proves to me that Goldings still holds a kinship that may never be equalled.Many thanks Tony,Brian and Ellen for a fantastic evening as the conversation once again became the main topic of the evening "Goldings"
Footnote.....My marriage remains intact after the effects of "amber nectar" but I have now been relegated to the washing for the next 12 months up as punishment! and I have been put on report!

Hi all, on Friday 2nd, it was Dave and Mal's ruby anniversary, at 7 pm he thought he was on he's way to meet his family in a local restaurant, but Alan (his son-in-law) took wrong turning and pulled in to a club /pub, were to Dave and Mal's surprise a big party had been arranged. First person Dave saw was Brain Perrier and Ellen, then I walked in and there were about 80 of Dave's and Mal's friends and family there and what a great night it was. My hangover got a hangover,but got home ok.see you in Oct Tony
