Dave I booked into the salisbury arms last night they still have rooms left £44 50p single room per night over the weekend I'm coming down on the Thursday £70 weekdays single. Doubles are more expensive.Ian Horrel who has now changed his surname name to Keates came into Goldings in the Summer of 1965,the year I left.He was placed in Aberdeen and didn't stay long (about 12 months)and was told not to come back when he went on leave which was about 1966,so was it on the cards then that Goldings was closing? Ian has kindly sent a donation to Goldings Old Boys fund, thank you Ian.Do you remember him Bobby Mac as you were still ther in 1966? I have now sent him the D.V.D on Goldings and the Opening of Goldings in 1922 along with the copy C.D of the band practising on the parade ground..as he was in the band and some of the tunes brought back happy memories for him.A little about him is on the profile page as he is now a dog handler.
