What did the man shout when he jumped out the bath? Eureka!! I have now found which company to pay!! Life returns to normal till next year. Look out for the new front page at last, and the final chapter on the history of the school "The Wheatley Years" Walsall for the play off!

I have received the following e-mail from Liz Maconochie regarding Normans funeral:
Norman will be driven in a Horse Drawn Carriage to All Saints Church on the Green in Sutton Courtenay, Oxfordshire. The service is at 12.00 midday on Monday 18th March. After the service he will be taken to Hermitage Crematorium, we will not go through as we can not face the cremation. Family flowers only but feel free to make a donation. We would like to support Barnardos and the Cardiology Unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital. Norman owes a great deal of thanks to both these causes who who have helped him. Barnardos for giving him a good foundation for life and the Cardiology Unit for helping to preserve his life.
There will be buffet food at The Swan on The green afterwards. Love Liz x

So sorry to hear of another Old Boy that will be missing from our reunion this coming year but on the bright side he was fortunate to be a Goldings Boy at one stage in his life and his memory I'm sure will remain amongst his friends, and will be part of the Goldings we all in most cases recall with fondness and pride R.I.P. I do hope Tony enjoyed his birthday and celebrated it in the usual manner. Over the last few weeks I haven’t been very well and my wife has tended to hold the fort in my absence, but now I'm recovered so I have returned her to the washing up, and general domestic duties that were part of our agreement that we signed forty years ago this year!! In my "man flu illness" our web site provider has requested payment for the site and has stopped any further additional information to be added until payment his made..., which is no problem! but one day they say I owe them then the following day another company not connected with them, then Tuesday of this week I should pay them, yesterday they told me to pay another company again not connected to them but different from the other company which is now driving me batty! I have run my own company and have never with pride dealt with customer so un-professional in my time and find it frustrating at the very least, with the threat of them switching off the site I have very few options! I can pay them, and hope that one of the other "suppliers" doesn't say you "owe us" so we want payment or transfer the site to someone who is more "customer friendly" but it would take about three days to transfer as it has now become a very large site and we would lose the previous guest book comments. I will keep on trying to unravel the situation that has arisen but in the meantime just bear with me as P.C. Home help (who technically support the site)are coming in to help me sort it, so until further notice I am unable to add or change the front page!

I sadly have to report the loss of another of our Goldings Brothers. I have just received the following E-mail from Liz Maconochie: I just wanted to let you know that my darling husband Norman, passed away at 1am this morning. He had been ill for a long time and had been in Hospital for most of this year. He had struggled for such a long time that we are glad he is now out of pain and is peaceful. For the last week we made sure there was always someone by his side. I was doing days and our son was taking care of the nights. It was so hard to watch him going downhill before our eyes. It was so nice to see you at the reunion and I know he was really pleased to be whizzing around the grounds on his buggy sharing his memories with me. Kind regards Liz x
I first met Norman a couple of years ago at Blenheim Palace when he and Liz attended a Barnardo event when I was giving a Barnardo presentation along with Dylan Carroll and Dr David Barnardo. I was able to give Norman details of our web site and about our Goldings reunions. We have kept in touch from that time. RIP Norman
