To all the many friends I have met at the reunions and all the old boys from my years at goldings the staff, Dr barnado chidren past and present where ever in the world you may be Mavis and I wish you a very merry christmas and may all your dreams come true in a happy and peaceful new year.
To Santa David and his many little helpers who make christmas come early on the first saturday in october every year we give many, many thanks.

I knew your grandfather well. I was at Godings the same time as he was,I've often thought of him. We were quite good friends. We were in Somerset house at the same time. I certainly would like to hear from him. Have a Merry Christmas.

Good morning,
My name is Lois Banks and I'm writing on behalf of my grandfather, Bryn Webb (aged 81). He was a student at Goldings in the 1940s (45/6-49). He worked in the boot/shoe factory and was a Wimbledon ball boy in 47 and 48. He has been regaling me with stories from his time at the school. I am ging to film him talking about his experiences. I'll hopefully do this over the next month so would you be interested in having a copy of the film?

To all the Boys & Girls that were in Dr. Barnardo's, Chris and Len would like to wish you all a Happy Christmas, not forgetting all the Staff that gave up their time in life to look after us. Also I would like to thank David & his lovely Wife who continue the Wheatley association amongst us, and who found his Father one of the finest men I ever did meet, who gave us the inspiration to improve our lot, and was the ideal person you could ever wish to be a Headmaster, hope you all have some luck in the New Year.
