I just wondered if any of you out there could help with contacting an old boy who is in a care home after having a stroke. He was at Goldings 1952-54,Kinnaird then Aberdeen,in Mr DeBoecks Shop,Tin Basher!. I have just spoken to him and to talk about Goldings certainly lifted his spirit knowing other old boys would like to exchange our times spent there. He remembers Maurice Munson, and his friend Brian Ferris,Victor King,Bill Roe,Henry Peete and many others. For security reasons I will not put his contact number or private contact here but would welcome your help so contact me in the usual manner to make an Old Boy happy. Many Thanks Dave.

If a man is in a forest talking to himself with no women around, is he still wrong?

Hi Dave Thanks for the update,. Yes I was in Kinnaird in 58 and then moved into Cairn,s till I left in Dec 61. I started in Carpentry "Couldn't cope with holding Saws & Chisels in the cold winter.Tried Shoe Shop with on of my mates David "Sherlock" Holmes and then under EMBO'S encouragement went into Gardening with my other mate Ian Parks. Before I left I had a spell as staff dinning room waiter with Miss Roe who was supposed to be deaf but on one occassion I was serving the roast and when I got to the stuffing she heard me ask staff "do you want stuffing" to quite a few giggle's I wondered at the time. No I wasn't in the band or any sport team, although I did swim and played tennis to a degree and trained for Wimbledon under Pop & Rev Nixon but collapsed with the heat, so wasn't allowed to go to Wimbledon. I was in the school choir and was confirmed when Rev Appleyard was there along with Shirlock and Ian.Will speak to you soon. Regards to All Keith.
