Good morning all, yes Peter, as Dave said all the best for your check up. We all hope they are good ones, by the way. Peter Happy Birthday see you at the next Reunion

Good luck Peter with your hospital visit and I hope you are well enough to celebrate your birthday on Saturday.

As we get older we sometimes begin to doubt our ability to "make a difference" in the world. It is at these times that our hopes are boosted by the remarkable achievements of other "seniors" who have found the courage to take on challenges that would make many of us wither. Harold Schlumberg is such a person;
Harold has often been asked, 'What do you do now that you're retired?'

Well....I'm fortunate to have a chemical engineering background and one of the things I enjoy most is converting beer, wine and whiskey into urine. It's rewarding,
uplifting, satisfying and fulfilling. I do it every day and I really enjoy it"

Harold should be an inspiration to us all.

Dave thanks for your good wishes, just to let you know I will be at the reunion with my rock and best friend Ann, just to wind you up and to help with the setting up as usual

Just got back from Hertford,the Goldings Old Boys football cup between Goffs School and St Joan of Arc School was one of the best match's I have watched since the cups inception,and finally won by Goffs 2-1,after extra time with the St Joan of Arc hitting the bar twice on the last two minute's.
The Goldings resident's look forward to meeting us once again this year and will lay on sandwich's,biscuits and wine for us when we call in on them.I am hoping this year to get a 60-65 seater Coach so most of us this time go together and split into three parties of the three era's, with longer time to spent around the grounds subject to privavcy of the residents and area's they prefer to remain out of bounds, details will be included on the reunion ticket, and then call back for the evening meal at the hall later.
I have also learnt that our bottom field and Cricket Table is now part of the grounds along with the chapel that form part of Theo Walcott's Estate,but there is a public way around the perimiter leading to top field (which is now a Barn with Horse's on!)
Bob to your question on my answer phone! yes that is the playpen in the backround!
Dave.
