Hi Dave,
Just to let you know that I had a call from BBC 4 Television last week while I was away on holiday in Suffolk and spoke a long time about my time in Barnardo's, especially my time at Goldings.
I'm pleased that Jean has had some success on the site.
For the first time, I will be unable to attend the Goldings Cup Final on Thursday as I will be staying overnight in Gloucestershire in preperation for a Barnardo event on Friday morning.
I had planned some weeks ago to attend after giving a Barnardo presentation in Northampton in the afternoon, then drive on to Hertfordshire later but this event has now been posponed until June.
I look forward to seeing the outcome on the site shortly, along with further information regarding the memorial. stone.

All Old Boys and their family are welcome.I am travelling down on Wednesday to meet up with the residents of Goldings,and the Vicar to finalise the Memorial,and then to meet up with Graham Gittens who has a piece of furniture made at Goldings by Les Bilham and hopes I can return it to it's rightful owner, failing that to include in our memorbillia on re-union day.

I have sent the dvd to Rodney Mitchell's nursing home and a write up on the staff and photo's of them for him, and the last I heard from his friend was that he has now watched the dvd of Goldings seven times!I have also put Jean Clark in touch with her old friend Mike Justice after 50 years both from Barkingside!
