Just before we change the front page for an earlier image,Bobby Mac has rang in to say he thinks the right hand top photo is in the white shirt Raymond Allen (Johnny Allen's brother)
Goldonian Summer 1964.
Raymond Allen,from Cheltenham Cairns.
He also thinks the other is Alan? Atkins.
Goldonian Winter 1965 from Barkingside Cairns.
Anyone else want to have a stab at the names before we put one of the earlist image's of Ball Boys that we have from Goldings.

If you click on links and click British Pathe News type in Banardos Ball Boys you will get clips from 1961 and 1966 also the Prince of Wales opening of the school in 1922 and the making of a playpen for Princess Margaret by Barry Hyland all of these are found on this link

Here is a chance to re-live some of those wonderful memories of Wimbledon.
Open Google, click on Video, now type in "Wimbledon ball boys". scroll to the bottom and click page 5 and scroll down to frame 7. Now take a look at 'Ball boys in training' Then look at 'Wimbledon' this footage shows mowing the grass, Making tennis balls at the Slazenger factory in Barnsley which then goes on to show(in colour) more Ball boys in training on the tennis courts at Goldings with a superb shot of POP STEEL serving. Great memories!

Hello Dave,
If you look at the web-site www.parkstone-sts.co.uk you will see that I have added quite a lot of Fred’s material. There is still more to add, it is a bit time consuming but well worth the effort. One problem is that the majority of the material has been duplicated, some of it many times over, so the 6 files you sent could be condensed to 1.5!!!!
I have received a few compliments about the material and will be doing detective work to find names/dates etc for a very long time.
I have spoken to Fred and conveyed my thanks and I would like to do the same to you.
