The Hog Roast has now been booked,I have also been in touch with the Vicar at Waterford Church ref the Memorial Service to the boys who are buried at Waterford.So my proposal now is to book a large coach to take us up to the service approx 11-30 with a half hour service in the Chapel hopefully get one of our Old Boys to play "Last Post" as the service is completed. Also we need to choose two familiar Hymns that were in use at Goldings for the service.Afterwards the residents would like to welcome us all,and with their blessings to spend a longer time than last year in the Mansion and familiar area's in the grounds,but we must respect people's PRIVACY were it is requested,details will be indicated well before re-union day.I then suggest that we all return to the Hall at Sele Farm around 5'o'clock on the coach to recall our day with each other.For those that prefer to use their own transport PLEASE USE COMMON SENSE WERE YOU PARK PLEASE.This is not yet set in stone but it does outline my idea for the day,but if anyone does have other idea's feel free with your suggestions as it's not only my re-union, but for all of us to enjoy and contribute with their ideas to help make the day enjoyable.
P.S. The residents are expecting to listen to the more familiar Bugle calls on the day and what they meant to us so I may have to record them,also they are expecting us to line up on parade in our House's, and perhaps David Wheatley would be kind enough to take his fathers familiar position.For those that want to "March to Church" on the day,just remember you could end up in Theo Walcotts living room,so just remember your manners!and please don't mention "Jack's Porridge"

Hi Dave, after watching the Barcelona Coach getting the bumps, Im glad Im not at Goldings anymore, getting 14 bumps was bad enough,imagine getting 62 bumps, or in Peters case 65. Doesn't bear thinking about.
