Hi Dave I'm really most sincerely sorry to learn of Bob Newton's ill health. Perhaps we can smile at the memories of times past . . . these are picture's taken from the production of 'Robinson Crusoe' which was produced by Bob c.1961/2. I can't remember the names of other OB's who were in the production other than Bob as the dame. Eric Holden as the zulu, myself as Crusoe and the flash that is bouncing off the head of Les Mondin at piano, who was the reader in our print shop. I'm sure any of the other guy's who participated in this production will join me in remembering what great fun we had working under Bob in this production. His enthusiasm and energy knew no boundaries. We also put on 'Mother Goose' again produced by Bob. Not only did we put on the show's for the entire school at Christmas, but there were a further two sittings for the local Derby and Joan Club . . . oh! how those old people laughed. On behalf of myself and all others that had the pleasure of so much fun and such wonderful memories of your patience and kindness Bob I'd like to say 'thankyou' and God bless you!
