just a quick message to any old boys that were at dalziel of wooler home in kingston in the late 50s early 60s .
i have just heard the sad news of the passing of david [ian] whishart, david was the first [maybe the only] barnardo boy i knew to attend grammar school hence he was affectionately known as the prof he has battled cancer for some years now but was a private guy and very few knew of his illness but he deteriorated in the last year and finaly succombed to it last week,
his funeral will be at kensal green cemetery harrow on thursday at 1.30

Today is the birthday of a former highly respected member of Goldings.
He will be well past 21,he supports a football team thats bouncing along in the basement of the premier league,been known to score 60 goals in one season,was a member of the school cricket team,and some say quite useful at ping pong??
He has reached the grand age of 75,and has promised to take us all out for a pint with his heating allowance
