It was sad to see the news of John Horn's death. John was a great character with a huge sense of humour and a capacity to down a few pint's, of beer, which he enjoyed. We have happy memories of spending a few late nights at the reunion's doing just that but as we all know he has missed the last few due to illness and will be sadly missed at the future reunions.
Our condolences to all the family.

Thank you for getting back in touch with the family, and I hope the sad news was not too much of a shock to you, or to the other Goldings members.
Details for the Funeral are as follows:
Thursday 9th April
A 2:00 pm Service will take place at Dukinfield Crematorium, Hall Green Rd., Dukinfield. SK16 4EP. It’s right at the end of the road.
After the service there will be a buffet provided at the Lowers Arm Public House, 301 Hyde Rd., Denton. M34 3FF.
Please could let us know the approximate numbers of people likely to attend the buffet at the Lowers Arms. Needless to say you are all welcome.

Hi Dave thank you for my Birthday wishes.
It was so sad once again to hear of another Brother John Horne our condolence goes to his Dear wife Mavis & family he will be missed at our Reunions as he as been for the last 2 or 3 years R.I.P. I shall not forget this day as John passed away on my Birthday .
