Well, Well,loaned my house out to the film crew for my friend in Walsall to make Finding Family which was broadcast this morning at 11-30.
They were here for 10 hours,in my garden,living room,dining room and kitchen.We gave them tea and biscuits for FREE! They interviewed me with Trevor about finding his daughter after all these years, and what they do with it? it's on the cutting room floor!!So my acting career and fame again has passed me by! So it's back to my part time job, selling tickets for the Elton John concert at Walsall Football Club tommorow, and my Karaoke tonight, perhaps Simon Cowell may come in for a pint and discover me! then it's back to the Fame Road !!!

This friday at 11-30 in the morning on BBC1 I should be on the tele called "Family Friends" as my friend in Walsall found his long lost daughter through the Salvation Army.
It was filmed in and around my house and garden.I tried to wear my "Goldings" top the one I wore at the Antique's Road Show at Lords,but no Adverts are allowed on the BBC!!!

I thought you may be interested in the following:
About two years ago I did a Barnardo talk for a ladies church group at Kirkby in Ashfield, Notts. In the audience was a lady (Elizabeth Cook) who told me she new all about Goldings as her Uncle worked their. When I asked for his name, she told me he was Frank Tordoff. Imagine haw strange that felt as Frank taught me all I know about the leather trade which kept me in work for most of my life.
I was invited back to do another talk some weeks ago and went armed with a copy of the Goldings film(which features Frank Tordoff) and also an article which I found on the Goldings Web site about Frank.
Unfortunately, Elizabeth was not their as she was on holiday so I left it with her friend to pass on to her.
I have attached a recent letter from Elizabeth, which is self explanatory.

Thank you so much for sending me the disc and printed article about Golding's and my uncle Frank.
My friend brought them to my house and when my family and sisters came to see me I was able to show them all. I had to email them to my sisters after they had seen it. We all remember happy holidays at Waterford and visiting Goldings. Frank and Doris were our favourite Uncle and Aunty.
I had a birthday party in April at my daughters house and all my family came. Kate my uncle Franks daughter was there and I told her you had been kind enough to send me the disc and article, and she said she had the same ones.
I was sorry I was not at the meeting when you came it had been changed from the original date that I had in my diary. I am enclosing a cheque for your Barnardos. Thanks again.
