Hi everyone,
Margaret and I had a most enjoyable evening at the Royal Albert Hall last night supporting Barnardo's 'Young Supporters' concert which featured a choir of over 1,200 children from schools all over the South of England and it was fantastic. After helping with the sale of raffle tickets and concert programs, we had the pleasure of watching the concert from the "Royal Box".
I'm proud to announce that I am the recipient of "The Marsh Christian Trust" Barnardo Midland Regional Volunteer of the year for 2011 and will receive the award later today in Birmingham.
I do have to thank Margaret for all the help and support she gives me in all the Barnardo work I do.

Alan wouldn't it be nice to fill it with wishes and dreams...
But practically why don't you ask your local school or hospital (childrens ward) and have a "Decorate Alans Barnardo Christmas Tree project", all the children could send in something they had made, or maybe a Christmas message to hang on the tree get it in your local newspaper, Just a thought!!
