Had a dreadful week last week. On Monday I went to Skegness to spend the night with my sister in preporation of a Barnardo event at Louth the following day. On arrival, Margaret was unwell and I had to take her to to the local hospital where she was transfered to the Pilgrims hospital in Boston. She was very ill and on the critical list at one stage and I remained at her bedside all night. Following an operation on the Wednesday afternoon, I was able to bring her home last Thursday and I'm pleased to say she is now a lot better and resting at home.
On the football front, rest assured Forest will be there or about at the end of the season and it all starts with a win tommorrow when I will see them beat Middlesbrough.
As for WALSALL, they have got off to an average start but remain below new boys STEVENAGE and the oldest club in the world, NOTTS COUNTY!

Val & I have just become grand parents for the second time in ten months.Our Sons little Emma born last Dec 29th spent six month in hospital and now is coming on well. our daughter is blessed with a little girl 15th Oct 7lb 9oz and called Caitlyn Ann. both Mum & Baby are doing well and hope to be home on Monday. I would like to thank everyone for their kind messages about Celia. The funeral was held in Jersey last Friday and growing up at Goldings featured in my eulogy. It was a dignified and moving occasion attended by over 600 mourners.
I thought the Memorial Day was a wonderful occasion and demonstrated how strong and united we are as a unique family. Many thanks to Dave, Mal and all the other helpers for making it such a special day. The Residents could not have made us more welcome.
