Hi everyone,
Margaret and I had a most enjoyable evening at the Royal Albert Hall last night supporting Barnardo's 'Young Supporters' concert which featured a choir of over 1,200 children from schools all over the South of England and it was fantastic. After helping with the sale of raffle tickets and concert programs, we had the pleasure of watching the concert from the "Royal Box".
I'm proud to announce that I am the recipient of "The Marsh Christian Trust" Barnardo Midland Regional Volunteer of the year for 2011 and will receive the award later today in Birmingham.
I do have to thank Margaret for all the help and support she gives me in all the Barnardo work I do.
