After a Great Reunion,can we all think of our dear friend and brother David Wheatley, who on Friday 07/10/2011 will be putting to rest in peace his dear sister.Can we all say a little prayer to ourselves for Celia, God Bless her .

Hi Dave l remember the night very well as it was you and me it was nice and dark as we made are way down the drainpipe and across the yard to the hole in the wall as we where near the gym up in the apple trees as l was putting down my jumper and then l heared a shout "l've just been sting" then a load of apples hit the floor still have my share of apples as we made our way back to the dorm ha, ha, ha, blower!
Did not make you any taller, maybe the sting is still there, is mal keeping you in check? so sorry we could not make it but it sounds like you all had a great time we will catch up with you when we are in the uk.Life's hard in the sunny BAHAMAS! take care Bob and Roma

Many thanks to you all for probably making this years reunion one of my best with your attendance at the church and the hall,but lets not forget previous reunion organisers who started it off,Jimmy James,Tom Cotton,John Hunt who along with Mr Wheatley's blessing paved the way for me as a lot of groundwork was already in place.For the last two years we have also had the support of the residents who have now become a larger part of our family.Who in their right mind would spend upwards from £800,000 on a flat then invite into their private world a group of people who they don't know their first name.Words will never be written that could thank them enough for helping us recall and replenish our fond memories of Goldings!
Rev Brian Fairbank,John Cooper(who looks after the church)The Mayor of Hertford, Mrs Sally Newton along with Barnardo's I would like to thank,but I must mention one of our most welcome guest every year recently who put his family berevement for a short period on hold to be alongside with us and to remind us of his family commitment to the success that Goldings surely witnessed under his fathers leadership,many thanks David.
Which now brings me to the very fabric of people in the backround who help make the reunion so enjoyable,without them it could be a labour,but with them a labour of love and fun!
Pete and Ann,Brian Perrier and his wonderful family,and my daughter Michelle,surely when awards are being given out these wonderful people should be near the top! so Michael Justice mention this when you are next at the Queens Garden Party!...thanks to you all.
