Hello Maria, I have put your message on our web site, good luck with trying to trace him.If he was at the Verney, that tells me he was a Printer, and if it was the late sixties by then, Goldings had closed and they moved down to Mead Lane Hertford by then Barnardo's had purchased premise's in Hoddesden with the view of selling off the Verney. I will look through the Goldonian (our school magazine) to see if I can help further as sometimes they wrote in as Old Boys, failing that at our reunion on the 2nd October you may want to call in or I can ask other Printers from the time at the reunion who still live in the area, Winnie Norton, Ron Porter (who now works in Tesco's Hertford) and Angus MeGeoch who used to work for the Hertfordshire Mercury were all printers around that time and may with a bit of luck can help you! All the best Dave Goldings 1962-65.

Frankie Wilson.
I am looking for Frankie Wilson He was at the Verney In Waterford, HERTFORDSHIRE I knew him in the late 1960's. At that time he was around 16/ 17 and was moved to digs in Hoddesdon.
He worked at the Printers in Hertford.

Last of the big spenders

No way jose, no nicked towels after all for the raffle, but to celebrate a certain well known County, who to-day won the County cricket championship, I will donate a Gunn & Moore cricket bat which has a handful of Autographs on it that I obtained when I worked for the company repairing Cricket Bats for the pro's. I am now Just waiting for forest to deliver the goods!!
