Now the dust has settled after the excitement of last weekend, I have had some time to reflect on what was an absolutely fabulous day. We are so lucky as I doubt if there is a family in the world that could celerbrate a family day better than the "Goldings Family". I feel that our family has now been extended with the addition of the present day residents who made us all very welcome when they opened up their doors to us and It was so nice that they were also able to visit us at the community centre were they were made welcome. We all owe our thanks to Dave and family once again for his hard work, not just the reunion, but also the web site which goes from strength to strength with more people finding us which enabled a few new faces at the reunion, who I hope were made to feel most welcome. We should also say thanks to brian & Helen for their huge contribution. The only thing to add is, roll on October 2011!

The latest recruit this year to our reunion was Charles Jones who came to Goldings in 1932! and he certainly put me in my place after talking to him, with my hand in my pocket! he must have been a prefect! "Stand to attention when I'm talking to you boy"

My Brother Andy and I would like to thank you for allowing us the opportunity to join your reunion day, Visit to Golding s ,and of course your hospitality, up until 4 weeks ago we had no idea that our dad Ernie Dawson had ever lived there Until I stumbled upon your website and Bill search in 2006 .

also on the day looking through the Goldonian collection i found one with reference to my dad would it be possible to purchase a copy? it was in the 50s box 1951 and the book was marked number 6 please let me know
