Thanks no 22, I had a great day, one to remember, When I was on my way to Singapore in the early 50s on the troopship Devonshire, we were stuck in the bay of Biscay, getting blown everywhere, no power working, then I didnt think I would be lucky enough to get this far!, but I did and thanks to Dr Barnardos I can see my friends each year, and also contact them on your excellent website. Right you can stand down now No22. John Sansom No12 Goldings 1946-1949.

Hi Dave
do you remember a carpet cleaner made by a company called bissel, it was similar to a bumber you pushed it to and fro on your carpet to collect the dust and fluff.its possible they made them for polished floors.
just a thought.
